The idea was kinda that if you could afford to spend $1.9mm on cars, you've probably got the house covered, and enough money in the bank to not be concerned with investments.

But I've played that game too, so what the hell.

I love this game

assuming I had to blow it all on cars...

daily drivers:
Aston Martin DB9 Volante $175k
Bentley Continental GT $165k
Mercedes-Benz S63 $150k
Cadillac Escalade ESV $60k
2002 Rolls Royce Corniche $200k
BMW M6 convertible $100k

high-speed toys:
Chevy Corvette Z06 $70k
Ferrari F430 Spyder $190k
Lamborghini Murcielago $290k
Saleen S281 convertible $75k
Porsche 911 Turbo cab. $150k

classics:
1976 Cadillac Eldorado convertible $20k
1961 Lincoln Continental convertible $20k
1960s Mercedes-Benz 600 Limousine $35k (what I'll get driven around in)
1980s Mercedes-Benz 500SEC AMG $25k
1966 Pontiac GTO convertible $35k
1971 Dodge Challenger 426 Hemi $60k (I'll build one myself)
1980s Porsche 930 Slantnose turbo $65k

that should bring the total up to the 1.9 mil ballpark

OK but for reals, I'd prolly do like everyone else and buy a nice $1MM+ house and one or two from each above category

If you guys are talking about rich folks (I know of a VP in my company). He got Enzo, McClaren F1 and the likes.

He was smarter than you guys. Bought a high end dealership and sell high end cars. Then buy all these high end collector cars as part of the business to drive/show off to customers, and still be able to write-off as a business expense.

No money out of his own pocket, just as a business expense...

I loved his red McClaren F1. He bought it from Michael Andretti and got it autographed on the driver side visor.

No brainer...a house on the beach. I would die of a heart attack before spending that kind of money on a depreciating asset regardless of how much money I had.
