VFROOOM,

I know quite a few people that have used them and never had a problem again. You may want to verify the battery, as a bad or failing battery can cause premature rectifier death.

Sorry to hear that man! How did you know that it failed if you were moving? Mine just would not restart after a short trip to the bank. I guess we all need to add a digital voltmeter to these bikes!

Well, it was fine for the first part of the trip. I was riding in some remote BFE parts and noticed a little hesitation when accelerating, like it was missing ignition at certain RPM. Nothing that alarmed me. I thought it was the heat or vapor lock or just needed the carbon blown out of it. I must be living right because it just died at the stoplight a few miles from home & my wife could pick me up in 10 minutes.

Strangely it was in preparation for a S2K event, Jinxer!
