Their reviews are very subjective obviously for the sake of entertainment, and realize he was actually praising the car for it's amazing performance on the track.
He's just saying that on UK roads, the car isn't very forgiving. Which is probably true... we have a much better road system here in North America, and I'm sure it'd be a fine daily driver over here.

That is a frigging fast car! I don't really care about his complaints (bad radio?, c'mon), and I'd drive one on the street everyday. If you can drive the S, you can drive that on the street. Aside from the de facto American car complaints, it sounds like it shut Clarkson up in the performance department.
How about faster than the F430? USA sticking it to the Italians again!

Too bad 1st gear went up in smoke. Probably had another second or more left in the car from the start alone, not to mention the runflats. Very impressive time though. It seems the chassis is well sorted, the Stig had no trouble putting the car right where he wanted it and dancing along the limits.

Thanks for the link! Based on what I have read (having only driven a Z51 not a Z06) I would probably agree. The standard Vette would be a better choice for the non track people. Probably just as fast in daily use while more civilized.
