this rules out all Ferrari's, all Lambos, all GT3s and most other Porsches, most R8s, most Corvettes, etc.
by your definition, a FWD Civic Si is more of a sportscar than any in the list above.

my comment about manuals is strictly a personal opinion- a car must have a manual for me just because i hate- truly hate- automatic anything transmissions.

Know your audience. For a car enthusiast, it usually means a somewhat lightweight, 2-seat (Maaaaybe 2+2 on an exception basis; 911/RX-8) RWD, manual transmission car.
For the general population, it's anything with 2 doors and/or a spoiler.
