Default What to do?

I have come to a cross road what should I do?

I have a two options:

Rebuild and port the engine (13B) and perform a little mod here and there to the R2 and when the S2000 goes off warranty go FI (probably S/C)

OR

Put a 20B in the RX-7 and DO NOT I repeat DO NOT FI the S2000.

Definitely go with the 20B. Might as well have one monster car and one fun car that's easy to whip around....well easy compared to a monster RX7. Besides I think the S2000 shines in its stock form, withOUT FI. The only performance mods I personally would do to an S2K is final drive, carbon driveshaft, clutch/flywheel....but that's just me. Cars like the S2K are meant to be stock or close to stock. Cars like the RX7 are meant to be tuned.

xpander - could you qualify your last statement? The RX7 was an excellent car from the factory, as is the S2000. Why does one demand tuning and the other not?

20B...absolutely. You have a really nice combo of cars...one street killer and the other nice top down driver. Just make the street killer even more killer and leave the nice reliable driver alone.

Damn guys you are killing me here. I was thinking I could go the EASY way out. Now this, though I kinda secretly hoped to do this anyway. I just don't want to wait so long to get it done. The down time will be CRAZY long. No votes for the 13B and the S/C S2000?

My R2, remember how you told me you were planning on modding your car just a little bit more over winter, so that you can race kamehaha's very fast Miata over the summer?

Well, a 20B would be that little mod!

Just my 2 cents... Sell RX-7 for good money...... Hold on to money......buy S2200 Hardtop and S/C or Turbo that when it comes out.... Any takers or is S2200 pipe dream

Why have two cars that are pretty quick when you can have one insanely fast car? You already have an RX7 with a known history, you might as well take advantage of it. Do not try to avoid your fate
