Default Who would win? IYO

Okay. Its very premature at this point but we pretty much know the amount of power each car is packing. Most of us own s2000's so were obviously NOT too obsessed with power.

Who would you think would win the Majority of the Comparisons based on what you've read about these 5 fantastic machines?

based on what?

straight line performance
weightower ration
suspension
steering feel
ergonomics
overall fun
balance of price and the above variables

It's a personal opinion when you add all those factors, plus brand name for some, reliability, warranty, future depreciation, etc...

for me:

1. e90 m3
2. CTS-V/RS4 tie
3. IS-F
4. C63 AMG

The c63 will depreciate fast, probably heavy, slushbox, distant feel, not much "fun"... just fast (whoop-de-doo!)

We own S2000s, not Mustangs and Vettes. S2000 = lightweight sports roadster, not power monster.

As for the comparos, who knows. It'll all come down to which car offers the most performance and fun per dollar. It could go to any of those, but the RS4 is a bit too expensive, so I don't think it'll place top. The IS-F hasn't come out so we don't know how it'll handle and drive. But I think the M3 will come very close to top.

Of the cars that have already been tested, I place them in this order (which price plays a factor as well):

1) M3
2) C63
3) RS4.

Personally, I'd take the M3 with a manual trans. over the other 2.

My mistake. I meant were NOT obsessed with power.
