Why does steering wheel vibrate?

yup, ice/snow on wheel is my guess, damn VA people don't know what to do when it snows

So it was a wheel imbalance problem...just not a "typical" wheel imbalance problem.

I should've thought of that - I had it happen a lot in Canada - but I didn't check your location.
