Why are S2K owners so fasinated with the 350Z?

It seems like every 5 threads are about the 350Z around here now. Not only that, but almost every thread seems to be a poor attempt at downplaying the Z...
What's the deal? Are these people really that insecure?
From an outside perspective it really peaks my interest to see this.
