Wife wants a WRX STi
The title of the thread says it all. She will be taking one home tomorrow on a 24 hour "test drive" while they fix the A/C in her Jeep. The sticker price is 34,400...So what is a good price to pay? Thanks for any suggestions.

Jesus I'd love to have a wife like yours in the future!
Where do you find women like this?

You mean the wife wants a WRX, you want an STI.
Blame it on the wife.

I've found that everyone is happier if you just decide to pay what you think is a fair price, rather than trying to screw the guy selling it to you, and also avoiding getting screwed. I always shoot for invoice plus 1,000... I feel good about that price, usually. Of course the more expensive you go, the more you may have to pay (depending on the car). But I've bought 3 cars in that general price range and have always done the deal at invoice + 1,000.
Can you get it for less? Sure. Is it worth the haggling, the multiple dealers, the headache and stress? To me it isn't.

Best advice is this:
www.nasioc.com
Search for it there. Don't post asap or you'll get flamed for not searching (those crybabies.)
Look around your regional forum and see if anyone has any similar questions. If not, post a new topic there. The regional forums are friendly compared to say, General.

This is a good place to look. Nasioc is definitely the largest Subaru site, but iWSTi.com is the best STi specific site. It's a great car, I went from a s2k to an STi and love it.
Good Luck.
