I'm an anesthesiologist so I do OK. But I've still got student loans so I really want to hold off until they're paid off.

All my life I've wanted nicer cars, but had to settle for less expensive ones. Hopefully in a few years I'll be able to buy the good stuff and not have to settle.

Not to say the S2000 isn't a nice car, but it is a value buy in the scheme of things.

Man is that Turbo SweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeT. As I've always said " Its the real deal".I'll have to build a lot more guitars to get that one.
Scott love your Vert. Silver/Red looks so cool.

I like the "nice car in a run down part of town" pictures like that one.

jeez, I didn't realize the Vette could be bought for mid 40s. Might be a contender for my next car.

I love my C6 with headers and corsa exhaust it rocks.I would love to own a Carrera S, maybe I'll get lucky and get one.Paid 45k for the Vette added 3k worth of stereo(stereo sucked liked my 2000 s2k) headers and corsa catbacks for another 3k and a transparent roof panel for 1200.Not bad for a car that will put a serious smile on your face every drive.
That is a beauty!! I came pretty close to buying one in that exact combo.

As much as I like the C6, I like the 997S a little better myself. I like 997S' smaller appearance though technical dimension figures have the 2 cars just about the same size w/ the C6 being just a tad wider. Their interiors being a major deciding factor for me.

Hey, the Vette can be had for low $40s that's Elise or base Boxster territory.

As big a fan I am of a 911 S pushing $80-$90K will get you two hell-a nice cars for that $$

And you could buy two Scion's for the price of the S2000 or four used Civics. I've never really understood that argument.

Low $40's is actually not all that likely unless you are getting a great discount. The problem is that the low $40's model, the 1SX (coupe only), simply isn't being made. There are some out there, but not many.

The vert is going to have you in the low $50's-60 depending on what you want. I don't think you'll get a vert in the $40's unless you have a serious in somewhere.

He did say "hella nice". Does a Scion or Civic classify as "hella nice"?

Actually I don't subscribe to that logic either no matter how you answer the above question.
