Default Z06 Rotor issues.

I guess the new Z06 is not immune to GM quality issues after all.

The C6 z06 comes with Lt. sided rotors ONLY. The cooling vanes(those little holes in the rotors) go the same direction whether its the right or left rotor. The Rt. Front rotors are marked Lt. on them.

Somebody on the site did pyro tests on the rotors and came up with a 140 degree difference on the track. Now this is a crude test but it is somewhat concerning.

I'm not good at photoshop, but I'd like this pick to read "GM Advanced Research Dept" or something like that...

So does TSB54 (for 3 years in a row without a fix) mean that S2000's are not immune to "honda quality" after all?

No one is perfect.

It's no fun to crucify Honda for every mistake they make, though. Let's just blindly hate on American manufacturers.

I was j/k because the Z06 is still one of the most track-ready cars sold period, and it doesn't sound like a big issue especially since most won't be able to use all it's potential.

Oh come on, not being able to use the car to it's full potential is a poor excuse for this goof up. The car shouldn't have come with crap drilled rotors in the first place.
