Your friend is wise.

In the C5, the shift knob is one of the most annoying and ugly things in an otherwise cool car.

first of all,

s2000 is a japanese car... which uses metric for its bolts and nuts...
corvette is an american...
so you get the idea.

s2000 knobs, thread size is 10 x 1.50 mm.
corvette's is 9/16" x 18.

he can get voodoo ti knobs for corvette, it looks similar to arc.

A guy at a local race shop here put an S2000 knob on an 04' Cobra Mustang so it can be done, how easily is another matter.

I prefer it for drag racing. Tried a bunch of other ones but none let me slam it into 4th like this squaring knob does. I do use an aftermarket momo for normal driving though.
