I don't car if BMW is giving the Z4 away and Steve from Denver delivers the car to my door.

The new Z4 is UGLY ,period.

And at these prices per the performance, all I can say is, "Ouch my eye".

I agree, I am still in shock that they will produce such an ugly car -- to me it looks like someone gave up half way through the design process and just said .. ahh screw it.

...so they literally screwed it, the force of the screwing causing the bending of metal in unforgivable ways and shapes, resulting in an even WORSE looking car with that long front (a predictable result when you start screwing something like they did) and a short back end (took a pounding, obviously). You couldn't have said it more perfectly, steve c.

Ah, but doesn't your point fit so perfectly with mine that says people will by the badge and take whatever it happens to be attached to.... Also as someone else said, the S2000 is a limited production vehicle and thus not in any sort of sales race with anyone. I would also say that the Z3 is much better known. It has been around longer, was featured in a major motion picture (Bond, James Bond), and has more advertising around it. Even though the S2000 is entering its 4th production year, Honda makes very little noise about it.

No, since Honda isn't in any sales contests w/ this car, which is supply-limited.
