I received fantastic treatment when buying my S but that could have something to do with the fact that my daughter was my sales consultant
Aside from that though, Garcia Honda here in ABQ is a great dealership - I never worry about leaving my car in the service department, the guys are great with my car...everyone knows their stuff and nothing is too much trouble for their staff. Just wanted to shout out to Garcia Honda as so many people seem to have bad experiences with Honda dealerships.

Nice report. Dealership treatment varies. While my local dealer sucks, I have been serviced at three other Honda dealers and all have been a very good experiences so far.

great write up.
I test drove a Z4 2.5i yesterday. It was a perfect afternoon to drive a convertible. I wanted to drive a manual, and since the 3.0 manual isn't out yet, I drove the 2.5i. The car is definetly a huge leap forward from the z3. I always felt that the z3 was bmw's version of a miata. The z4 is a fresh redesign.
Pro's :
1. BMW level of quality, fit and finish.
2. good balance between suspension stiffness and ride quality.
3. luxurius interior.
4. minimal wind buffeting up to 75mph.
5. solid feel of the 5 spd manual(though its not in the same league as a s2000).
6. aural growl of the inline 6.
7. good trunk space.
Con's:
1. price- $41k for base engine with leather seats. The 3.0 auto was listed at $47k.
2. the butt is UUUUGGGGLY.
3. instrumention is poor for a bimmer. too small and cramped appearing. Nobody beats honda's analog dials.
The salesman stated that the M version is in the works, and there is enough space in the engine bay for a V-8.
I think the M version will be in the low 50's. That is boxster s territory. Say what u want about the boxster S, but it definetly looks better than the z4.
