X3 ride is very stiff, and not for those looking for a comfy ride. The payoff is decent handling and a lot of grip. Car and Driver recorded 0.88g of lateral acceleration. Not many SUVs can come close to that level of grip.

The RDX is a great little vehicle...handles pretty well and maintains decent driving dynamics but as others have mentioned, it gets worse mileage than an MDX.
Depends how you drive it. I regularly get around 21 mpg in a mix of city and highway driving with my RDX. In comparison to the X3, it will ride smoother (ride has been significantly improved since earlier models) and will be cheaper to maintain in the long run. Just my 2 cents.
