Congrats on the GTR! Although I wouldn't give up a Lotus for one. Heck.. if someone were to give me a GTR for free, I'd sell it immediately & buy a Lotus or Porsche (both of which you have/had).
Have you driven a GT-R? It's one heck of a fine machine. The Lotus is really just a toy, sucks for everything except track time.
There is no doubt its an amazing machine! And makes fast lap times possible with any driver. Which is why I like a Porsche/Lotus more, they reward a fast driver with fast lap times. Just IMO.

I don't agree with that myth after autocrossing the car for the first time. The GT-R is NOT easy to drive. I think I'm a decent driver but I was dog ass slow in the GT-R. The car is big, heavy and requires a lot of patience on corner entry otherwise it pushes badly. If you overdrive coming out of a corner it actually oversteers and you better have some car control skills ready because it will come around on you if you're not ready. The Lotus was very tricky to drive fast but I think the GT-R is much harder to drive fast compared to the Cayman which is pretty neutral.

I put 9,000 miles on my GTR before selling and now own an Exige--pretty much the opposite move as you! Congrats and enjoy the new ride!

Very jealous of your stable. Ideally the 240CUP is the next future car for me. How do you find it?

Why? Cup cars aren't even street legal IIRC. A normal Exige S240 with a TVS or Blade 300 kit would be better.

Perhaps the naming system is different in the US?

As far as I know the CUP 240 comes with a whole bunch of extras and 240HP.

Here's another one: http://www.carsales.com.au/private/d...k&sort=default
