Default 350GT Skyline

Just saw the 350GT Skyline, never seen one in the flesh before.. Liked it - a slightly stretched 350Z. It was black - looked lovely.

Considering it was on an 03 plate I am suprised I have not seen one before.. Or maybe I did and assumed from the frint it was a 350Z

Yeah - I like the look of that, could be very tempted. Softer than the older skyline but plenty of horses for me!

That is the new Skyline. But the spritual successor to the Skyline is the Nissan GT-R, yet to be released on supposedly a purpose built platform.

It's going to be more like this:

Yup, the "Skyline" name is going back to it's normal car roots.
"GT-R" is the pumped up car.

There is one around Reading, looks okay but nothing special.

According to today's Autocar, the Infiniti brand is coming to Europe/UK next year so we might not have to wait for much longer

That's an Infiniti G35; essentially a more luxurious 350Z with a couple of seats in the back. Infiniti is Nissan's prestige brand, sold in the US and, I think, Japan. It's not the basis for the new Skyline GT-R and has been around for five or six years.
