The new GT-R looks the business. I used to lust after a Skyline until I realised how chavvy they are. But I'd still love a clean R34 GT-R V-Spec II Nur. One that hasn't been molested by a branch of toys'r'us

That's an Infiniti G35; essentially a more luxurious 350Z with a couple of seats in the back. Infiniti is Nissan's prestige brand, sold in the US and, I think, Japan. It's not the basis for the new Skyline GT-R and has been around for five or six years.
Correct. There's also a four-door (like the old Skyline)
Infiniti may well go global, like Acura.
Except Acuras are pointless Honda re-badges, rather than bespoke platforms, which seems to upset the Yanks.
