I've never bothered mis-spacing mine, can't see the point in risking getting pulled over just to put make S2000 xx instead of S200 Oxx

Nah, I'm a bass player, so don't count as a muso, according to Cable

So why bother having it then?
2. It means the car is effectively dateless which is quite nice when it's in as good a condition as mine at 8 years old.

1. It was bought as a present.

I would have no problem mis-spacing or adding a black screw head in the relevant position if I could get hold of UCU 11T
Hmm.
There are a lot of private plates around here, and some of them really do take the piss, gernerally trying to pass off letters for numbers, dots in funny places etc.
Guess they have just decided on zero tolerance.
My X9 RPM is fine, but my old S2000 plate would have failed as I did indeed mis-space it. I was followed on numerous occasions and had no interest from the rozzers.
I bought my mum a plate which is mis-spaced by one letter, so she will have some sort of panic attack if I show her this thread
Just read the link properly and it doens't look to be aimed at S200 mi-spacing type stuff - its more italics and chav crap.
