I've just bitten the bullet and ordered a set of Fortelock tiles. Fingers crossed!

Don't know those but loads are basically the same, I am happy with them, no longer get ditched, they are resilient and look loads better and I couldn't paint due to the poor floor finish

I've gone for the industrial version, which they sent me samples of, so should be OK. I use rolling axle stands, so wanted something that didn't dent so much that they stopped rolling!

Just as an aside to this, i did our shed floors a couple of years back and other than scrubbing off all the loose shite ... the only extra step was a 50/50 water / PVA glue mix brushed onto/into the concrete floor before painting the floor paint. It has been stubbornly excellent.

I did the same to a garage floor but the car ripped it up really well lol

then the trolley jack

I tried epoxy on an outdoor bit. It was more robust but not infallible. I think I would have gone with that except the surface of mine was like the moon after the council pothole fillers had been round combined with a dusty soft texture.. basically you can't polish a turd but you can cover it over with pvc

Would it possible to lift single tiles where the stand feet rest so the stands sit against the garage floor, sure I saw this somewhere, tiles that were lifted had a Ty wrap on them for ease of use and locating.Made sense once they were explained to me.

Possibly but given it recovered from a car on stands for a couple of days it seems like it doesn't need it

I'm impressed, it's 6 months old, my only issue has been a lack of expansion gaps from my fitting around the door, so the edging pushed up. I unclipped and resolved that

It's so much more pleasant. Next job is additional lighting
