CC make sure you tell Mrs CC that Kia employed a designer from Audi, the chap who designed the TT. This will help with selling the idea of a non-German car.

It's strange how the market's dividing; the brand snobs go for teir 1/2s & the smart money for teir 5s.

The teir 3/4s (that your grandad bought) are left withering. So long Ford, & thanks for all the fish-faced cars like the Escort 4.

Is the doris taking up fishing/off-roading or is this just another woman who needs to be higher off the road?

I have not a clue. The q3 was nice, I gave it a bit of throttle but for me, 28k on that is like, why? She wants it though

I was looking at importing one from Europe. Is it worth it these days? I looked at VAT additions and the cost of the car new in Germany. There looked to be little to gain. Is this the case?

Know a couple of people that have the Hyundai Ix35 and haven't heard any bad points so far. I'm even considering contacting Hyundai and getting their Fleet person in to discuss terms and arrange a demo. You'll get a lot more car for your money.

Chap at work has one and it's lovely inside and to drive / be driven in. Still returns 50+mpg in the proces and the level of stock kit is far and away above anything Audi would allow.

You used to be able to get copies of D&G shirts quite cheap too.

Bu the real thing is more appealing to most.

The Kia Sportage is probably worth a look too, as it's essentially the same car as the Hyundai, and looks a bit better.
Kia and Hyundai have made great strides in every area

Designs are fresh and the interiors no longer stuck in 1974

Once they overcome the badge snobbery they will sell even more

It's increasingly coming down to whether you will pay more for a badge

Traditional benefits such as the build quality associated with Mercedes are pretty much redundant now
How long have Skoda been turning out quality cars akin to the more upmarket VAG they are based upon?
And how many times do you still hear people making excuses for the badge?
My guess is 20+ years for Koreans.

Hmm.. When we looked at a hatch for Dorris i thought that about Skodas and Seats. You get what you pay for from VADGE. The cheaper cars are cheap inside.

We bought a golf in the end, full leather and lots of kit.

I would get her a TT CC. Sod 4x4s, tll her they tip over or some shit

just lease something Col

£350 a month or whatever will get you into something nice for three years

at the end chuck it back and get something a la mode or whatever it's called

I'll never buy another new 'ordinary car'

Contract hiring an X3 a few years go was one of the most cost-effective cars we've run.

I too will never buy new again.
