Don't like the A5 at all, think it's the worst looking car in their current line up, big disappointment and wasted opportunity

Aston's don't do much for me I must admit. Every single current model is identical - it's like the emperor's new clothes.

That might have been a self reflection Mark and not an A5 at all.

Then again...

Seen a few now, all with those lights on in daylight, are they permanently on?

Yet another completely uninteresting modern car

I'm not a fan, but the A5 looks much better in the flesh, but still nothing special. I'd never buy one. It's like buying a BMW 318 Coupe:

"Look at me, I like to pretend that I'm still sporty. Do you like my toupe?"

And as for the R8? WTF was the designer on? "I've ****ed up the design, but if we put a fake panel here, it'll cover up the unresolved lines. "

Coupe's either go for one of two markets:

Classy coupes (A5, 3 series coupe, merc clk, volvo coupe etc.)

or

Sports coupes (350z, gayman, Integra, Calibra etc.)

The A5, IMO in black rather than silver tho, looks nice and classy and that's the market, people who want an upmarket car that isn't a 4 door.

Very few in history went for both markets. Possible notable exceptions, M3, Corrado etc.
