I have seen it in the flesh, and whilst it's better than the pictures, it still looks completely unresolved. That section just behind the doors is clear an effort to try and disguise it.

 

I think it looks nice, if a bit ordinary from the front.

A black R8 passed me in Scotland last weekend. Whilst I thought it was a nice car, its just a meaner version of the TT IMO. And not so much a bubble shape as a TT. Didn't blow me away looks wise.

 

Hardly anyone was prepared to pay that - what did they sell in the UK some years? Less than 10 cars? less than 5 cars?? It was an unmitigated commercial flop for Honda, only attracting serious enthusiasts but not drawing the hordes away from their 911's. I think Audi will have a much bigger success with the R8. Don't know why, but they will.
