Indeed.

So, if (in sympathy with the Devil) one is a man of wealth AND taste; what the hell does one buy, these days?

With £100k?

Dammit, just went on Pistonheads to see what I could get. This could take all afternoon.

DB9. Subtle colour.

Or perhaps the rapide. Saw a test one going around the ring, absolutely flying.

Nope, wouldn't buy anything other than something Japanese. So for 100k, I would get my dream car, an R34 GTR and turn it into something that would decimate all on the road!

A db9? Seriously ...

I'd get a beater 320d and an AC Cobra. I might need a loan or have to live without the 320

A scary parody may in fact be able to be drawn from our own magnificent NSX.

An unbelievably talented 'super car' - with the wrong badge.

Imagine if the R8 was made by Honda

I expect a lot of people would be jizzing all over it.

Where conversely the type of person (or the majority) who currently own one would see it fit the image they want.

Amazing what a badge does.

Interesting point - but an R8 made by Honda will be rather different. Time will tell...
