Default Which beater

Looking for another beater but want something a bit better then what I have at present. So upto 2000 quid , must be economical and low insurance. I have been looking at 98/99 Fiesta mark 4's , 1.4 ghias , anyone had one of these?

thanks

You should buy a Mondeo or a Focus.

Just like everyone recommended last time.

But you'll buy another shitter and pose the question again in another couple of months.

A 2 litre turbo on a new insurance would be high, I use my main insurance for my main car so this is a new insurance so from scratch .

If I was going to through 2k at a beater to run round in for a few months or so i'd look at salvage, stolen recovered or Cat D.

Some bargains to be had, go for a Focus TD, Astra TD or similar. Ireckon you should get 03 ish for less than 2k leaving the rest to put it right if required.
