You mentioned generalisations in another post which is of course where real discrimination and offence lies. If JC had said "All blind people are stupid and therefore Gordon Brown is a halfwit" (see what I did there) that would be offensive.

Unfortunately, many people "want" to be offended as there's money or celebrity in it. All the JC "outrage" will have raised the profile of the RNIB in these straightened times.
