Great stuff, I really like Snetterton, especially as I'm getting a taste for the faster stuff at the moment.

I'm not sure why Sears is so difficult to get right but I never felt happy with my line round it on either day. I'm sure my car is capable of being at least a second quicker round there and I'm sure that's where I'm losing out.

We finished 25th
Results are up.

I think it's fair to say both of us are pretty damned happy with that.

Thank god for that - a finish!!

Comments as Fieldl above.

My driving was bobbins, lines were all over the place. The next step is a couple of full days driver tuition.

This probably showed up more in qualifying. I think we did 23 quali laps and the fastest was almost 2s quicker than any other. This was done by Lee on his penultimate lap who, although he said the track was clear, also said he deliberately entered some corners slower. Lee can elaborate.

Well it works.

But I'm a little pished off with the replacement costs. We need to get much more savvy with the spanners.

Next one will be done by ourselves.

We are planning on sorting most things ourselves from now on. If we feck it up the car goes on the trailer for a pro to sort.

Provisional calendar for 2010 is up @ http://www.classicsportscarclub.co.uk/docu...%20Calendar.pdf

probably not enough time to get signatures for Spa next year though

How many do we need, 10?

1 - 2009

plus 5 potential 2010 = 5.

But they have them invitation races at each one.

so another 2.5 each.

One of us could be on 9 and the other on 8.

Need to find 2 races then. Northern saloons

Remember a day on a marshal's post will earn you a signature.

Useful insight too.
