How come you think dry sump is not cost effective?
You dont just gain reliability as Corgi says, you will gain some power too as the crank isn't sloshing about in the oil bath.
They must appear s/h sometimes.

Minor addition....
1 oil and filter change
2 change air filter
3 brake fluid change
4 oil pressure and temp sensors in gauges and sump plug drilled
5 thermostat drilled - buy new thermostat get race mechanic to drill it
6 e36 radiator and hoses
7 book trackday for end jan
8 air flow to box in tubing
9 Remove dipped beam headlights.
10 Change coolant
Dry sump kit is circa 2k.... never seen a second hand one. They tend to only be for the M3 engine. Changing the oil pump for a known good one would help though.
