Dave if you like hooning don't get a non M car. The only time I can get the back end to budge is in the wet the car misses the diff SOOOO badly. It's probably not the thing you would find out on a testdrive, but believe me when your driving it 'properly' it's get incredibly tedious. Apart from that I couldn't be happier with my car or the service.

I quite liked the 135, especially if it harks back to the older original M3s in spirit.

Small RWD, big power, and all with a a proper stereo and a roof that isn't made of clingfilm - tempting combination if it drives OK.

I'm debating this or an M. I've been looking at these for months and pound for pound for the running costs they are amazing. The engine is a powerhouse and sounds awesome. The only BIG downside is that it doesn't have a diff, and suffers the same fate as my current 3.0. It really doesn't like hanging it's arse out.

Considering you like spinning a car on a 6ft wide road i'd say this is a bit of a drawback

I know that it is an american magazine but...

I read car and driver on the way back from the US yesterday and the new 335 bi turbo was faster around their track than the Z4M coupe!!

I read in another magazine about a tuner that was working on the 35 engine and getting big power hikes from a remap and breathing mods 70 ish bhp IIRC which puts it comfortable above the Z4M in the power stakes.

I never thought I would say it but I can see thee 335 becoming my second car...
