I'm sure I was at Knockhill that night when the Mini was out, think it belonged to a member of Type R Scotland, the guy that was driving the Ferrari was not happy until he found out what powering it.

didnt original mini's weigh around 500kg? 220bhp in one of those would provide pretty good accelleration though i can imagine traction could be an issue in most scenarios

wouldnt want to see too many originals perverted though

My friend who's been in the Mini I mention would confirm this; under full-throttle acceleration he said it's all over the place. Amusing at low speeds, but when bouncing off the rev'-limiter in third gear (at whatever crazy speed that will be), it's not an experience for the faint-hearted apparently...
