well JC must be right about the legendary Honda reliability... friend of mine has a Boxster S done less than 2000 miles, needed an entire clutch system (imported from Germany) and also alarm/ central locking totally replaced and one of the headlights fell out... not bad for 43K....

Must admit it is anice car, just a bit pricey

 

I really cannot understand what people have against the Boxster.

Normally it is just jealousy when someone says that they don't like it. I know this is not the case here because we all drive Roadsters that are equal or even a little more equal, except for the price tag of course.

I also don't understand when people say they are a poor man's Porsche or can't you afford a proper Porsche. I know they refer to the 911 but this is a different car. What if you don't want the engine hanging out beyond the rear wheels, but want a real mid-engined, rear wheel drive sports car?

The Boxster S with 250bhp is an awesome piece of kit. I know you are looking at more than

Ps Sorry Gazzer but I hate the sound of them, they just sound very wrong especially on a cold engine. A women who lives in my apartment block has one and when cold sounds frankly awlful. I was surprised when I heard it and another resident said that sounds crap for a Porsche!!

Then she proceeds to exit the gated car park at full throttle which can't help.!!!

 

Carper...from what i remember of SM2...or was it SM3....anyway you could do with a visit to the above mentioned
