I'm sure those two were put on this planet to piss each other off. I would have laughed had Matt Neal tried to punch Plato in the helmet

I was stood at the front of Sheddon's garage as all this was going on. Plato had been acting like a complete cock on the restart and brake tested Neal into the first hairpin causing about £5000 worth of damage to the Civic. Spoke to Neal after the quali expecting the usual PR gumpf, but he was fuming and launched into a tirade against Plato.

Apparently, Plato has been saying things on t'internet about Neal's family over the past couple of weeks and this was the straw that broke the camels
back. When we asked Neal about going to hit Plato, he said he was a twat and it was not if but when he hits him...

It's definitely Plato who's the bigger tw4t.

TBH, this on track antics will continue to ruin the spectacle of the sport until the stewards get a grip and start doing something about it.

Don't get me wrong, i'm all for the fistycuffs in the pit lane, but you keep your racing clean.

 

Plato is a bit of a big mouth IMO...but it does make for good viewing

I think Matt Neal played it fairly cool tbh...he was never going to hit Plato whilst he had his helmet on, more seeing if he would flinch

 

One of the Foci decided to have a closer look at the gravel trap - after the restart, there was only time for about 1 clear lap, hence Plato's blocking manoeuvre...

 

Neal lost the plot there regardless of provocation, threatening to rip someones face off on camera is stupid and any contact from him on Plato in further races will be under great scrutiny, I don't think he'll get the benefit of the doubt in any incident.
