No, it really isn't.
Might make good telly if you get excited by juveniles, but this kind of tit-for-tat attitude in racing is what causes accidents.
My opinions of Plato are well documented on here, he's the kind of 'win at all costs' driver I despise, because the costs tend to be borne by other people in the form of broken cars and ruined championships, his career is littered with people coming off worse because they weren't quite as ruthless as he is (I know one or two of them). I haven't watched Rockingham yet, but I'm ashamed to say I was glad Boardman punted him off at Knockhill, it's good to see him getting back some of what he gives out.

I watched the Knockhill Plato/Broadman incident yesterday and tbh my heart hardly went out for Plato. Like you said MarkB, he does seem to be the villain more often than not and unfortunately he's dragged Matt Neal down to his level.
Part of the appeal of Touring Cars back in the 80's & 90's was the wheel to wheel action, and the fact my Dad owned one of the cars out on track. Yes there were accidents, but I never got the impression it was anything more than racing incidents. People like John Cleland were fiery characters, but I never remember him ever doing anything dangerous.
