God how I loved the Capri.

I clearly remember the day my dad had one as a courtesy car and he picked me up from school - I was the envy of all my class mates

Its now on the road Passed MOT first time. Valve Stem Seals changed so no more blue stink

Also got insurance sorted for my son

Yup, just what came to mind when i saw this thread tonight.

I used to live in Plymouth and there was a pearlescent white Aston Martin Tickford which I saw all the time. It did the rounds for years and got quite tatty, love to know what happened to it. Very angular bodykit, and very unique.

I had a few capris, my favorite being the older 3.0GXL Mk1 on a single open pipe, Offenhauser manifold and Holley.

 

There was a Tickford on E-Bay recently i think it reached about

 

Like the Manta, when I were a lad I remember our friends over the road took delivery of an all white Manta GTE , B111 EGM was its reg - looked cracking! Salloon rather than hatch.

 

Heh, I remember my Dad saying he used to have a job in a garage for a bit and he tried waxing one of the ones with the matt black bonnet! oops!
