Picked up my 'new' van today from a localish guy who is a bit of a petrolhead.
He has a lot of motors stored all over the place but in his home garage there
are two 'as new' 2.8's, one only 6000 miles and they are for sale around

 

I had a 2.8 capri special once, in their day they were quick cars

 

Fair play Jamie, damn cool car for its time. When did you have that? imagine they were far from cheap when they came out.

iirc the last 2.8 Specials were about

 

I had a 280 Brooklands in 1990 it was nearly

 

I took delivery of a pale blue 2.8i Special in 1985. I think I paid

 

Years back now, I remember it was white and had a massive spoiler at back. Luckily my mate had one too and he loved it so I swapped it for the standard one. It was a white one.
