We bought a veccy diesel a back in 2005 as the missus was commuting about 100 miles per day.. those days are gone and now it's nearer 14 miles so the veccy, unreliable, unwieldy and too big can go
what to replace it with? the requirements now are
1. Reliable - vectra has had a number of breakdowns including 2 front springs snapped and a damaged steering linkage (i think she drives off road or something)
2. Cheapish (she doesn't really 'get' cars and so is very tight when it comes to motors)
3. Nice drive (i have to use it sometimes)
4. Less than 4 years old.

Lots in that price bracket!
Just nothing French or British. Maybe a Ford Puma (Racing?) Maybe too old..
How about a Jazz? I really like those Suzuki things too.
