If, like me, your home is Apple-infested and you use AirPlay for streaming audio and video (and iPlayer) from computers/iPads/iPhones to AppleTV's and Airport express, then the new Apple CarPlay will be of interest. It's part of the new iOS 7.1 update.



For the uninitiated, AirPlay is a very sweet piece of functionality which is not massively trumpeted by Apple.

It's essentially AirPlay 'plus' for cars, allowing streaming and App's from an iPhone to interface with an enabled car system.

The best thing I have found is the seamless bluetooth integration between my phone and the pioneer hu in my S2. I get in and it starts playing whatever I've been playing, podcasts, albums etc.

Love it. And it requires no attention from me (the driver)

I saw this and was really interested. Anyone know of any aftermarket double din decks that has airplay? I want it for my dd.
