Default Chav mags

So one thought for a Christmas present for my 17 year old cousin is a years subscription to a car mag. His father's quite into cars, he's already got the usual 2 stroke scooter and I think the plan is to get him driving as soon as they can find something suitable and insurable.

Not knowing other things he's into I thought I might get him a years sub to something like max power or banzai. Does anyone know which car mags are out there targeted at the youf of today.

Max Power is ceasing production. Wwent from 150,000 copies to 25,000 copies a month. I think it finishes in January???

I read Fast Ford every month as it's got some good tech bits in it. Worth a thought!

Banzai is ok, but it is complete technical hoo-ha.

I'm loving my subscription to Complete Kit Car as it has a lot of useful techniques and worthwhile info.

Fast Car has the best mix of stuff I suppose.

If it's Chav you're after you could just point him in the direction of a couple of threads in the main forum.

And prefer Japanese Car to Banzai. But depends if he's into Jap cars or not.

I'd say get him a sub to EVO - although it's not the cheapest.

How about "Model Railway" and be a bit left field...

Max Power ceasing production? Blimey.

Something must have gone seriously wrong there.

It was the car related lads mag for a long time.
