Do think you could start giving tickets to all the idiots who drive round with one head lamp out at the same time?

There seem to loads on the road at the moment who don't care that they look like a motorbike until the get close. Half of them drive round with their one working headlamp on full beam. Presumably because they can't see properly

and the farks that have blue LED's in there lights or on the windscreen washers

 

When I was living in Melbourne they would have a few cops on major trunk roads pulling cars over into a layby and testing them. If the layby was full of testers then you would drive past, if there was a slot you would be waved in. Simple as that. rain or shine, summer or winter this would happen a few nights a week.

Bit sil really since it was such a regular thing you would choose a different unmonitored road if you had been drinking. Kinda like speed cameras I guess - go speeding on the roads without them.
