On the face of it, some pretty impressive driving, but he is giving the poor thing hell and not surprisingly it's didn't end well.

Impressive driving I thought. Showed circumspection when it was required and I liked the bit where he wound his window down to thank/apologise.

Yes he was thrashing it but it sounds like (from the PH thread) there was a technical issue with the alternator and cam belt that came back to bite him.

 

He's got some quick reactions there
Hacksawing away at the steering but he's passing a LOT of cars
I guess driving that way the ending is inevitable

 

I've never raced but very impressed with the awareness of all the drivers being passed too - good watch with my 11sies cuppa , thanks for sharing

 

Excellent driving, but buzzing the car off the limiter on downshifts isnt too sympathetic!

 

I think he's been watching too much of Maldonado... skill is not in doubt, but it's no way to play the long game

 

You're just jealous of his heeling and toeing ...

 

By the way, what is that red cord or cable that seemed to come loose on the first lap?
