Sorry to hear it.

I found out that some organ donors had been doing that chav sliding over the Prelude. Fortunately it was undamaged.

Some people require on-the-spot castration. And I don't mean chemical.

The police photography guy came round on Sunday and dusted some prints off my car and others. Hopefully this would help them track down who done this.

I have sent some pictures of the damage to my dent guy, he's unsure if he can do it and from what I understood from what he said, it is due to flexing metal that size may cause the metal to become weaker. He thinks that I may need a new roof, which mean cutting off the current, find replacement (probably junk yard), welding and respray... He estimate region of £800 damage there.

He is going to take a look in person tomorrow to give me a final definite answer to see if he can take the dent out either way.

Question now is, should I wait or should I inform my insurance right away, even through if I am unsure at this point if I should claim this under insurance?

Just get a quote for insuring it next year with zero NCB. If the difference is bigger than it would cost to repair it yourself then its probably not worth it.

I had this happen a few years ago when I had an evo, although they did the honour of kicking my windscreen in too. c@#ts.

I had a "friend" who did this once about 15 years ago because he thought it would be "funny". Never spoken to him since. It's not like he got his kicks from vandalising cars, he just had a sherry or two on night and walking back home saw a car which he walked over. I think he was showing off, although I don't know who would be impressed by something so stupid

It looks like only dents, so a decent dent removal guy should be able to push them out.
