Default guess what.. don't laugh

As you guy's know, I traded my S2000 in for a M Roadster. Well, I was out to dinner tonight bragging about my new car to my friend and he wanted to see it. Well , we were suprised to see a nice 10 in gash infront of the left rear well. Some drunk fool must have backed up into my left rear quarter panel . Of course it was a hit and run. Up the street, on the way home, I saw a car off the side of the road with a girl in handcuffs. Since nobody appeared to be hurt, I secretly wished them much evil since I think I saw the car in the lot earlier. The interesting thing is that nobody was parked near my car. There were no cars within 5 spaces in either direction. Well, tomorrow it goes back to BMW. Now we shall see if BMW customer service is different than Honda's. I can only pray.. I will keep you all posted.

Don't laugh

George

Why would this be BMW's fault? Shouldn't a body shop fix this or am I misunderstanding what happened?

You have the worst of luck in keeping your car in good shape. I hope BMW pulls through for you.

If you thought that this was the car that hit you, why did you not stop and ask the cops to check for any signs of a recent accident (scratches, etc)? That could have solved a lot of headaches right on the spot.

If you were thinking the car you saw down the street was the same one that may have hit your car, maybe you should have stopped and takled to the police.
