Thanks Sazzy, that's very interesting, have been reading lots of very positive thngs about the car which is always nice

I have been holding off on a write up for now as am still running in - just a few more miles and will be able to open up a bit more, looking forward to that!

Suffice to say am very happy and very impressed with the car overall, the only thing I am sure will be the need for a bit more power perhaps but as I haven't really had a spirited drive using the sports button will see how that is after the run in.

Feels fantasic, a lot of car!

Proper "First impressions" write up with pics to follow shortly!

Look forward to it CB.

Would love to pop over and have a look some day.

I notice Komotec are doing some power upgrades! I visited them near the Ring and they are a great outfit.

The description of the Exige's NVH as like "an earthquake in a sardine can" amused me!

CB, my curiosity got the better of me today and I visited Chris for a test drive.

I am so impressed with it. It pulls like a train (only 2k miles so still tight) and the handling is just sublime! The way it rides is great for a road car, but it really is point and click

It could do with a touch more power just to get it to pick up once you've changed gear, but i'd bet those Komotec mods would sort that.

Love the soundrack too, subtle but you can hear that V6 when you thrash it.

Love the size of it too - things are getting too big and it's nice to see a Cayman size performance car...

I want one

I told you not to! now look what you've done agreed on all points, am nearing 1000 miles now so giving it a bit more beans and am very happy. Yes, i think there is always going to be room for a few more HP but on "normal" roads it's still got plenty of punch as stock.

Does sound great too when you pull above 3000rpm - love it more as each day goes by!

I can see this going the way of the S - some breathting mods, perhaps exhaust while we wait for a good FI package, but like you am soooo impatient!

It's indeed one of the few new cars that isn't an HGV, but it is still quite big & bulky.

I have to confess that I'm a bit too scared to go near my local Lotus agent at the moment. These cars seem a bit infectious!
