Saw one in black the other weekend, it looked very good indeed. Not so good when it did the old "cut across two lanes and the front of another car whilst leaving a dual carriageway with 50 yeards to go" manoeuvre

They do have "big hips" I must say - first time in a rather small car park in central London yesterday and must say it was a rather tricky manouvre with big kerbs and narrow bays!

Certainly turns a few heads though - there aren't too many around!

Nick, just go and try one.

It's still stuck in my head

I gave it a little bit of stick around one of my favorite roundabouts and it was so smooth and effortless.

CB, do you have the reversing tv thing? I was surprised to see the rear view to be about as good as the Exige Not that it bothers me.

Yep - still getting used to that - must try and adjust it. Parking sensors too which are good - to be honest very quickly got used to the rear view - just the big hips with the air intakes that still make me giggle a bit!

Wound it up a little on the way home last night - very solid in every situation. looks like I might have to go back to work early and delay the handling day I had planned perhaps will do that in May

Is it just me, or does a tacky 1970s go-faster stripe really suit the slightly 70s-retro shape of the Evora? I like the thin gold one on the racing series cars too!

In this colour the rear quarter light design reminded me a bit of the Lancia that Saz posted the other day.

Lancia Fulvia

Fiat Dino Coupe, one of Polemicist's favourites.

I like those stripes too.

Speaking of stripes, I saw a white RX8 yesterday with black Shelby stripes and though they are becoming pretty ubiquitous lately, I thought it looked fantastic.

Have you been to test drive on yet, Nick?

I shall pester you until you do

I think you probably should do actually! I'd sort of given up completely on modern cars and the Evora might be the one...

Another positive review of the Evora here

http://insidelane.co.uk/?p=268

"....you can get an Evora for as little as £45,000. Not bad considering its Ferrari rivalling performance, and let’s be honest, it’s a dam sight more exciting than the Audi your wife wants you to buy."
