I want to see him throw it off the track, just to see how the media will react.

It's going quite well cos I'm happy if either Alonso or Raikkonen win. But for all the young boy is doing well in the best car (shades of Hill, Villenueve, Button, Coulthard etc), the media purporting him to be the saviour of black people, British people, McLaren, Formula 1 and everything that is holy, really is starting to grate.

 

F1 needs some British driver to support. Last GP I paid to go see was
in the Mansell era, what home grown talent has been worth it since?
Including turning the TV on!
I even found myself urging MS to win over the last few years.
Mansell wasn't nicknamed Lionheart for nothing, I hope Hamilton
shows more of the balls he showed last week.

Agreed. I just can't get excited by him at all. I admire the attitude he shows on track though, but as soon as he steps out of the car I just see a black Lieutenant Commander Data, only not as interesting.

 

Show me any media comment from the last 2 months mentioning he's black - I thought such comments have been conspicuous by their absence...
