You have to go back a hell of a lot further to find when Norwich won anything, Rog!
I believe they won the Championship in 2004. And who is your local team, Congleton Town ...?

But my family comes from Manchester. My mum cried in 1958.

Our team wins things most years these days

I'm with Mark if RB became champion, i'd be ecstatic. He has fought a lot, including being in Michael/Ferrari's pocket.

It'd be a nice signoff.

Come on Rubens (sorry, but I'm just not a Button fan)

I'm sorry, I don't buy that.........it was his choice to sign a contract (and re-sign another during his tenure at Ferrari) which made it abundantly clear that he would be #2 to Schuey .

He was generously compensated for accepting this role.

I'd quite like to see Barichello get it in some ways too, but as for being more deserving, six wins is a lot, more than Hamilton got last year. Being clear #2 to MS is a bit of excuse; even if they did have completely equal treatment would Barichello or Irvine really beaten MS? I don't think so.

Why didn't the BBC move Hole in the Strictly Factor to BBC2? I suppose it was only a matter of time before they put their lowest common denomonator programming ahead of F1.

Well, they cancelled hole in the wall and something else in lieu of the F1, but they pandered to their larger audience for Strictly Come Dancing.

And, let's face it, the nation doesn't really want to listen to EJ droning on and on and on

You may have a point there.

I was sure they were going to abandon qualifying, but it was actually quite exciting at the end so I'm glad they didn't.

It's certainly shaping up to be another nail biting last F1 race. Abu Dabi looked like it might be quite good, but the pit lane exit looked like going through a multi storey car park.

OMFG, my prediction of quite a few months ago that Button will not be champion is coming true.

I said at the time that Rubens would win it by a point or two and I'm wishing I'd put a heap of cash on it now.

Button - quit the excuses and grow some bloody balls.

Losing the Chamionship in this manner must stay with you for the rest of your life - imagine all the 'what if' conversations you would have with yourself, knowing that it's unlikely you'll get the chance again.

'The curious case of Jenson Button' is an apt analogy by the BBC.

Anyways I'm looking forward to the banter next year when Kimi and Lewis are in the same car.

Is that pretty much a done deal now ?

I hope it does come off as I'm sure there'll be some great racing betwen the two of them.
