Is that pretty much a done deal now ?
I hope it does come off as I'm sure there'll be some great racing betwen the two of them.

If that's the case I'm a little dissapointed as Raikkonen constantly talks about having a good car, and it's all about the racing - and considering he's already been paid at his Ferrari salary level for next year, you would think he would accept McClaren's offer (unless it is rediculous). There have been a few rumours about Toyota offering a rediculous wage for him next year - which I would be gutted if he accepted.
Agree that if Raikkonen and Hamilton were in the same car there should be some awesome racing - both have similar styles and prefer oversteer so the car should suit Kimi from the off (unlike the understeering Massa Ferrari)
Plus I don't think they would give eachother an inch - they both have the same win at all costs attitude, and both are capable of some awesome overtakes.
Really hope it happens.

Anyways I'm looking forward to the banter next year when Kimi and Lewis are in the same car.
His options seem to be Toyota for money, or McLaren if he's serious about winning, so let's hope the latter. But then with Mercedes supposedly pulling back from their involvement with McLaren, and getting more into bed with Brawn, who knows where McLaren will be.
Neither potential champion (discounting Vetel) is definitely signed up for next year either. I wonder what that number 1 would be worth to Toyota or Renault. Button will probably be at Brawn, and Barichello probably at Williams, but they must both be wondering if they can do better.

as points it would be even
