Proposal is for 2008 by the sounds of things (last paragraph of the article below).

Mind you reading that article. WHAT A WHINGING GIT!

http://www.eurosport.com/formula1/sport_sto886265.shtml

I'm sorry yes it means the teams who run them already will have an advantage. Just means they've been more forward looking than the Michellin Runners (yeah granted you get the advantages of michellin now but penalised with Bridgestone later and all sorts of other arguements) however this is no different to the arguements that have come out about the Torro Rosso's running with limited V10's, or the gradual change over from Turbos to NA engines in the mid/late 80's. Those who changed earlier were penalised since they didn't have the power but had better tuned engines and more experience than those who changed later.

OI BRIATORE. Shut up and get on with it!

That race you had the first 4 cars setting a stunning pace to get away with a VERY gutsy move by Hakkinen to get past Webber up the hill.
Bloody hell! He must have been going so fast that I didn't even see him.

Great race. The "no overtaking" brigade will never be happy, but personally I think those cars are so spectacular round there I could watch all day, and after 20 odd years of watching F1 I still never fail to be amazed by the on board shots round Monaco.

Couldn't be more of a contrast to Spain though, as Spain is always deadly dull with the cars not able to get near each other. Overtaking is pretty hard at Monaco, but the cars all seem to be able to run so close.

Told you DC would do well.

At the end of the day, Renault will now walk it (and no doubt dedicate their win on sentimental grounds to the now deceased head of Michelin) McLaren will have a shot they would otherwise not have had of winning at their 40th anniversary event
How I hate being right all the time but it was a rubbish race all in all - it wasn't extremely eventful as the commentators would have us believe since not many events happened; Alonso had it pretty much covered from start to finish.

Kimi the car breaker nearly had a result. Hope he goes to Renault so they will start having some reliability issues What a load of tripe about engine temperatures - Monaco is the slowest circuit on the calendar and gives the engines the easiest time as a result.

Button rubbish (again failing to live up to the hype) - thing is he can't develop a car and is now consistently being outdriven by his team mate to boot. When will ITV stop assuming everyone is waiting for him to win a race?

Schumacher brilliant, bringing it home 6 places ahead of his team mate who had virtually the same opportunity and fastest lap (yet again!) on tyres that had done I don't know how many laps.

Just as last year, the TV producers treated us to the final 3 laps with the driver who had a runaway lead (and the backs of his team management staring at computer screens) and nothing of the excitement going on behind on the track at the time. duh

ITV commentary team absolute garbage (I stopped expecting anything better ages ago). Louithe Goodman sucking up to her usual old loser buddies, Lenny Kravitz doing christ knows what (Oh I know, telling us they'd just put new tyres on Raikonnen's car when we can all see it's a used set - what a waste of a pitlane pass!) , Mark Blundell who it seems is still on Maclaren's payroll, Steve Rider who needs to go back to snooker and Jane (Stop the Cock) Allen wittering on about any old crap that comes into his head. to the lot of them

I think even he isn't stupid enough to believe that he's nothing more than a stop-gap, and that the only reason he is one, is because his manager is the boss's son.
