Afternoon chaps. I figured that there would be a thread here dealing with our German friend.

But what of the odds for Schummy to get a podium postion or to win? Oppose him on both and it looks like free money to me.

d
that might have been possible if he could adjust his fuel load.. but this year they have a declared fuel load if you do the last 10place shoot out.. so he can't fuel up like he could have done in the past..

maybe there is a loop hole for disqualified people

You can place a lay bet on betfair for Schummy to get a podium postion at 11-1. Could anybody explain how he can possibly get into the first 3 from the back of the grid?

I am confused. I reckon the odds ought to be 300-1.

Watching it again I have to agree that it looks very unlike a mistake.

Last year BAR were disqualified from a couple of races for a rule infringement that gave a small gain at best, so if Schumacher really is guilty of this why hasn't he been disqualified from the race?

Well he could 'stall' on the start line for the formation lap... then start from the pitlane after being topped up. He'd be in no worse position than he is now.

It does. But how good is this guy as a spoofer? Watch his hands as he parks the car.

I was saying the same thing as Jackie Stewart. I think he just goes in way too deep into Rascas which will always spit you out wide if you do. I think he realises it and decides that since he's screwed he might as well park it and slow everyone else up

And a nice bit of gamesmanship by Renault there. Noticed that for a couple of laps Alonso didn't push Fisi to see just how many carss he could sneak through on under the confusion

Hmmmmmm. Schumacher on a 1 stop everyone else on 2 stops having to dive for the pits under the safety car whilst he can stay out. Wonder how this will play out
