Under what circumstances during understeer when trying to turn right, would you put the steering to the center when you are already slipping offline?
No point continuing to try to turn or turn the wheel more during understeer, it won't have any effect. You need to lose speed and straighten out the steering to regain control, then have another go when you have the grip back. Fine until you run out of track, as seemed to happen to Schumacher today. It looked to me like he avoided the accident nicely, but didn't make any attempt to get away.

Senna and Prost also won championships by deliberately taking out their rivals (Prost and Senna respectively ).

He's already won a championship by doing this sort of thing, so it's nothing new.
When you decide that as you braked a bit, the back end started to come round.

Even MB said that was normal

It's the second part of the incident after he regained control that might be a tiny bit suspect.
It looked like he could have completed the turn but his assertion was he was too close to the barrier and needed to try to back up a bit.

Is Barichello also one of the top 5 then?

Take a bit of lock off till the fronts bite, granted; but he went from full lock to none, to full, to none again as if he was slotting it into a parking space. He was also very careful to park it up without scuffing his front wing. He began turning into Rascasse too early and offline to begin with. He claims he locked his brakes, but I bet the telemetary says otherwise.

He's a cheating krout b@stard.

He had no oversteer though, during any of the televised footage. He was at it, the b@stard!

I can believe MS made a minor mistake in the corner..

but then was incredibly clumsy in sorting it out.. like the engine just stalled??

how many times has he gone off in races.. even stuck in gravel traps and managed to get out without ever stalling the engine..

nice quote from Flav..

"Someone who was seven times a world champion wants us to believe that he didn't do it on purpose - it's fairyland. And given that we are not Snow White and the Seven Dwarves I think that what he did was unsporting and against everything"

Button ...

I appreciate the car doesn't appear to be up to much, but Barrichello did better ... for the 3rd GP in a row.

I hear Frome Kart Track is looking for a new instructor. I think he should consider it seriously ...

I reckon Bernie told him to do it, so the TV people have something to talk about during tomorrow's race which is normally as interesting as watching the M25 on a Friday night (well, for most folk, who don't appreciate the difficulty of driving an F1 car on that track - self included)
